Well, He better. I ran into one of his lawyers in the house of God and they want to reserve at least 40% of the annual revenue. Shish!

I believe you have a natural gift for honest story telling. And whitespace, whitespace is important in the visual arts as well as writing, and I would imagine, music composition. Good point. It's all related, I'm convinced.

Also, yeah, on the photographs - that's another tip I have too. Take lots of photos. Make lots of mistakes. Digital photography allows you to "double your failure rate."

And I love those Jesus photos, in fact he just told me himself that he digs them too. :-)

I was reading your excellent tips to start taking better pictures when I saw that you referenced my humble self. (Ha-ha-humble.) Can't say I ever thought so much about it when writing it, it's not a very well-written piece though the subject is somewhat funny, mundane yet surprisingly honest to reality at the same time.

I dunno. I just chisel out a sentence until it feels right. Write from the gut, even if it means breaking common sense and courtesy, not to mention el grammar con leche. If people get the gist of your direction they'll know what you mean anyway, you'll have an Understanding, which leaves a lot of stuff unwritten. Which is good, 'cause writers are lazy. With the single exception of Balzac perhaps. Poor bastard.

As for photographs I am very much aware of geometry, lines and lighting when I take pictures for the sake of it, and not just a means of documentation. But I'm very much indebted to the Gimp. My best tip is therefore pretty simple: take several photos of the motive you are photographing, on different settings, with different angles &tc.
Thanks for pimpin'!
